He ran some tests and tried to tell me my whole network and router and dns was infected and that several services were not running in Windows and a right click on avast. I contacted Avast uk support on 0800 0148929 and spoke to this guy who immediately wanted to dial in using a kind of logmein client. I ran a smart scan first which went ok but when I tried to run the full scan I noticed like you all say here that progress wheel was stuck on 0% for a long enough time for me to consider this unusual. I installed full paid latest version of Internet security yesterday on my Windows 10 laptop.
